      Description

      Hi,
i've run into trouble with a Nexus 2 installation on Windows Server 2016.

It is basically impossible to do any administrative tasks via the web frontend - after a couple of seconds i'm facing a pop up that reads

There is an error communicating with the server.

There was an error communicating with the server: request timed out

This happens regardless of the Browser i'm using - i tried Chrome, IE11 and Firefox Portable - and it also makes no difference whether i'm accesing Nexus from localhost (via the Browser) or another computer.

It has gotten to the point where i can't even display the configuration of a repository anymore, nevermind actually changing settings.

We've got an identical setup on another machine that works like a charm - both are virtualized instances (VMWare ESX), the only difference being they're running on different clusters.

I really don't know where to start digging to locate the actual problem - are there best practises/recommendations?

      Regards,

      Steffen Elste
