Various Maven plugins for generating Jenkins jobs, unpacking archives and compiling Kotlin sources.
do you own the domain goldin.com? if not, maybe use groupId com.evgeny-goldin for your projects?
No, I don't own this domain, but I do own evgeny-goldin.com / evgeny-goldin.org.
If possible, I'd like to keep the gId as "com.goldin.plugins" as it's used in many places already under this name.
Sorry we want to keep maven central clean, so all projects new to it must have its groupId matching its domain.
I see. What would have happened if I didn't own any domain?
most oss projects will be hosted on googlecode/github/sf, so they can use com.github.foo, something like this
Ok, will I be able to use "com.github.goldin.plugins" groupId?
https://github.com/goldin is not your space, it's now 404
It is now, I put a "goldin" alias on GitHub.
updating groupId to com.github.goldin so you can deploy any artifacts of this groupId (or subGroupId of it)
Configuration has been prepared, now you can:
please comment on this ticket when you promoted your first release, thanks
Many thanks, Juven, I will.
I promoted releases to "com.github.goldin-360" and "com.github.goldin-369" staging repos. Please, let me know if something is missing.
You're almost done! Per Step 8 of our documentation:
you still need to log into the Nexus UI at https://oss.sonatype.org, navigate to your Staging Repositories, and click the "Release" button.
Once that step is successful, please comment again on this issue, and I can activate the sync to Central.
Central sync is activated for com.github.goldin, it runs about every 2 hours.
Got it, awesome. Thanks again!
How do I enable statistics permissions? I see no projects in "Project:" list when loggin in at oss.sonatype.org and clicking "Central Statistics". Thanks!
If you can see the link, you already have permissions. Stats lag behind by a month, so you won't see anything until next month.
Will deployment work fro groupId 'com.github.goldin.plugins.gradle'? Or I need to open a separate request for it? Thanks!
Ok, I see it worked: http://search.maven.org/#search%7Cga%7C1%7Ccom.github.goldin.plugins.gradle
Yup, the staging repositories set up for com.github.goldin will allow you to deploy artifacts to that groupId or to any sub-groups.
