Signature error while trying to close the staging repository

I am facing a signature error while closing the repo. I tried verifying the signature using gpg, it seems correct, but when I deploy, and try to close the repository, I get the below error:

Failed to validate the pgp signature of '/com/gwidgets/gwty-leaflet/0.1/gwty-leaflet-0.1.jar', check the logs.

Any ideas, what the problem might be? Thanks
