Nexus looks in remote repositories for release artifacts which are already cached locally.

    Description

      Related to NEXUS-3829

      Nexus will look for release artifacts in remote repositories listed in a group even when the artifact has already been cached.

      We should scan all proxy/hosted repositories which match policy of request for locally stored release artifacts before going remote.

      I think we should also do this for timestamped snapshot GET requests.
