Maven Publish Indexer task sometimes keeps running

      Description

I noticed that if I ran multiple Maven Publish Indexer tasks in a row, that eventually they would keep running and not revert to waiting/complete (see attached, log when generated also didn't indicate completion). Despite the stop button being enabled, this task is not cancellable (currently) so the only way to stop them was to restart the server. On this, their state was interrupted. If attempted again, they started running and again didn't stop.

Repro steps (done 3 times, unsure if all steps are necessary):

      • Push a maven release, snapshot and download a jar from central proxy from default maven repos
      • Setup Maven Publish Indexer tasks for release, snapshot, proxy and group, manual runs
      • Run release, snapshot, proxy, group tasks (I did that order). BUG: Proxy and group remaining running. On run of release again it also remained running.
