      Description

      As of NuGet 5.8, MS is adding support for verifying signed packages. (Package signing will apparently come in a later version.)

      Functionality specifics TBD. They may include:

      • protocol changes to support verifying, if that somehow talks to the remote
      • UI changes to display the signed status of packages
      • etc.
