      Description

Running Nexus in k8s via then Helm chart.

Problem occurs with the docker Repo, I believe nexus-proxy has nothing to do with it.

When trying to push images with buildah, buildah first pings my.nexus-docker.server/v2. This URL always results in a 401, when "Allow anonymous docker pull" is enabled for the Repo.

This is also reproducable if you just login as admin and call the URL manually.

my.nexus-docker.server/v2/a or any other than the "root" URL is working.

As soon as you disable "Allow anonymous docker pull" you no longer get unconditional 401 responses.
