      Description

Configure Nexus Platform Plugin for Jenkins failing to connect and perform operations against a Nexus Repository manager version 3.x server at a URL using HTTPS instead of plain HTTP. Operations will fail to send the configured credentials, even though the credentials are valid.

This affects all versions of the Jenkins Platform Plugin from 3.2.20180724-142843.2f5144d to 3.3.20181025-134249.614c5f4 ( see https://wiki.jenkins.io/display/JENKINS/Nexus+Platform+Plugin ).
