      Description

Some of the biggest package hosting services use token-based authentication for their package indexes, and this is accomplished by sending HTTP Basic Auth username header consisting of a unique token, and a blank password.

      For example: https://packagecloud.io/docs/api#api_tokens

This is critical to allowing use of Linux package management solutions (yum, apt-get), and if I could pass a blank password, I would be able to add yum and apt repositories without waiting for native yum/apt support in Nexus Repository Manager
