      Description

      Background

NX2 writes its artifacts and .properties files in a temporary location and then moves them into place at the latest possible moment, which (among other things) prevents backup systems from reading half-written files.

In NX3, there's a temporary blob facility, but in some cases (when hard-linking isn't supported) it can default to stream-copying, which may cause backup issues.

      Acceptance
Blobstore bits and their properties files should be written in a way that avoids third-party backup systems or any similar access from accessing partially complete blobs.
