      Description

It should be possible to add a folder of SWCs to "library-path". This is a common workflow with designers; it is impractical to delploy all graphic asset SWC changes through the repository.

This is currently a blocker for my Maven workflow with flex-mojos.

          Peter,

I had the same requirement and finally created a patch which was refused for the known reasons. If you are a programmer you should be able to create a custom patched version yourself. I can live with patching new flex mojos versions - takes only a few minutes. End of the discussion for me, and Velo does not get bothered with all the forum morons.

OK thanks for all the replies anyway. FWIW my persistence on this topic is only due to what a lifesaver flex-mojos is for us, and when something so useful is free software it is almost too good to be true. This one issue is literally my only complaint, which for me is pretty rare..

I'll shut up about it then, except to address the earlier discussion about ways to go about getting art into the repository, for anyone who comes across this page later (not to imply that my solution is any work of genius). We use Hudson for all our builds (https://hudson.dev.java.net/, another great free-software project), and since the project I'm working on now is time-sensitive and smaller than our other stuff I'll just set up a command-line job to deploy the art artifacts to Archiva when they change in SVN. Our artists do know how to use TortoiseSVN, fortunately . When I get back to the bigger stuff I will probably want to look into applying the patch, to avoid the Hudson job list turning into something resembling the NYC phone book.. I've toyed a bit with maven plugin development so I should be able to handle it - thanks Peter for that as well. --Peter
